Committee to Apply for Accreditation for May 25 Ukrainian Presidential Election

The Committee for Open Democracy will apply for official accreditation for the May 25, 2014 Ukrainian Presidential Election.

COD has previously been accredited in Ukraine for the 2010 National Local Elections, a special mayoral election in March 2012, the 2012 Parliamentary Elections, and a special oblast council election in Vinnitsya in February 2013.  The Committee for Open Democracy was the largest international observer organization for the October 2010 National Local Elections fielding 96 accredited observers.  COD was one of the top ten largest delegations observing the 2012 Parliamentary Elections in Ukraine as well.  Individuals interested in working as a volunteer observer should email a list of their previous elections observed (if any) and submit a scanned passport photo page to no later than May 16, 2014 to be considered for this election.
